What is Google Now?

Google Now includes voice search and commands, Now cards, and predictions made by Google’s intelligent personal assistant. This tool is similar to offerings by other major tech companies such as Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s’ Cortana. Google Now uses a natural language user interface to make recommendations, perform actions and answer questions by integrating with web services such as Google search. Based on search history and habits, Google can pro-actively deliver information in real time. This system leverages Google’s Knowledge Graph project, which uses big data and AI to infer semantic meaning, ultimately providing the most relevant results.
